New: Federal Act on the Transparency of Legal Entities

The Federal Act on the Transparency of Legal Entities and the Identification of Beneficial Owners (TJPG) establishes a central federal register of beneficial owners (UBO Register) and replaces the previous obligation for companies to maintain internal lists under Article 697j et seq. of the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR). The TJPG and the TJPV will come into force on 1 October 2026.
